Shipping & Delivery Policy

Battery Safe Systems ships certified lithium battery safety cabinets and charging systems throughout the United States. Because our products are large, heavy, and freight-shipped, delivery procedures differ from standard parcel services. Please read the information below before placing your order.

1. Shipping Regions

We currently ship to:

  • All U.S. states (continental USA)

At this time, we do not ship internationally.

2. Freight Delivery

Most battery safety cabinets are delivered by freight carrier due to their size and weight. Delivery methods vary by manufacturer, but generally include:

  • Delivery to the customer’s address
  • Curbside drop-off (standard for heavy equipment)
  • Liftgate service where available (may vary by supplier)

Final delivery method depends on the specific manufacturer and freight partner used for your order.

If you require a particular delivery arrangement, please contact us before placing your order and we will confirm whether it is possible.

3. Shipping Times

Shipping and lead times vary depending on the cabinet model, stock levels, and manufacturer.

Because different suppliers have different processing speeds, we do not guarantee specific delivery dates.

In general:

  • In-stock items typically ship within standard freight processing timelines
  • Made-to-order or specialty items may require additional lead time

Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide tracking information when available from the manufacturer or freight carrier.

4. Delivery Appointments

Some freight carriers may require a scheduled delivery window. If a delivery appointment is required:

  • The carrier will contact you directly
  • You must be present to accept the shipment
  • Missed delivery appointments may result in re-delivery fees charged by the carrier

These fees are determined by the freight provider and are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Inspecting Your Delivery (Important)

Freight shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery.

Before signing the delivery receipt:

  1. Examine the pallet, packaging, and cabinet for visible damage
  2. Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing
  3. Take photos of all sides of the shipment

If damage is not noted at delivery, freight carriers may deny claims. This requirement protects you and ensures the manufacturer can replace or repair the item.

If your product arrives damaged, notify us within 72 hours at: support@batterysafesystems.com

Include photos and your order number so we can assist quickly.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping rates vary depending on the product, weight, location, and manufacturer. Any shipping charges will be displayed at checkout or quoted prior to ordering.

Some products may include shipping in the purchase price, depending on supplier policy.

7. Failed Delivery or Refusal of Shipment

If a shipment is refused or cannot be delivered due to customer unavailability, redelivery or storage fees may be charged by the freight carrier. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.
