Battery Safe Systems works with specialist manufacturers and suppliers across a range of battery-safety equipment. Delivery arrangements can therefore vary depending on the product, supplier, destination and receiving requirements.

Where applicable, delivery method, estimated lead time, freight charges and any special requirements will be identified as part of the quotation or order process.

Delivery coverage

Battery Safe Systems is focused on supplying commercial customers in the United States.

Product availability and delivery coverage can vary between suppliers and may also depend on the destination, equipment size and freight requirements. We therefore confirm delivery availability against the specific enquiry or order rather than applying one universal shipping promise to every product.

How orders may be delivered

Different equipment may use different fulfilment and freight methods. Depending on the order, delivery may include:

Parcel delivery — for smaller products, accessories or components where appropriate.
Pallet or LTL freight — commonly used for cabinets, cases and heavier equipment.
Specialist freight — for larger systems, unusual loads or products requiring specific transport arrangements.
Supplier-direct delivery — some equipment may ship directly from the manufacturer or specialist supplier.

The delivery arrangement shown on the relevant quotation or order confirmation takes precedence over the general guidance on this page.

Freight and site access

Larger battery-safety equipment may require commercial freight delivery. Before ordering, consider whether the receiving location can accommodate the expected vehicle and unloading method.

Useful information to provide includes:

Whether the delivery address is commercial or residential.
Whether a loading dock is available.
Whether liftgate service may be required.
Whether a forklift or pallet-handling equipment is available.
Any vehicle-height, width, turning or access restrictions.
Restricted receiving days or hours.
Whether delivery requires an appointment.
Any requirement beyond standard unloading.

Term	What it generally means
Liftgate delivery	A truck-mounted lift is used to lower palletised freight toward ground level where a suitable loading dock is not available.
Delivery appointment	The carrier coordinates a delivery window with the receiving location.
Inside delivery	Additional movement beyond standard freight unloading. Scope can vary and should not be assumed unless confirmed.
Specialist positioning	Movement or placement of heavy equipment beyond ordinary delivery. This may require separate arrangements.

Lead times

Specialist equipment may be held in stock, dispatched from a supplier location, configured for an order or produced to order. Lead times therefore vary by product.

Lead time is the period before the product is ready to leave the supplier or manufacturer.

Transit time is the period after dispatch while the shipment is travelling with the carrier.

An estimated delivery date may depend on both. Where available, expected timing will be provided during quotation or order confirmation.

Delivery dates should be treated as estimates unless a specific commitment has been confirmed for the individual order.

Delivery costs

Freight costs can vary according to product size and weight, supplier location, delivery destination and any additional receiving services required.

Where shipping charges apply, they will be identified during the quotation or ordering process where available. Orders requiring unusual access, specialist freight or additional delivery services may require a separate freight quotation.

Receiving your order

Commercial freight should be checked when it arrives. This helps identify visible transport damage or shortages as early as possible.

Check the shipment quantity. Confirm that the expected number of packages, pallets or items has arrived.
Inspect the visible condition. Look for crushing, punctures, impact marks, torn packaging or other obvious freight damage.
Record visible exceptions. Where possible, note visible damage or shortages on the carrier's delivery documentation before completing receipt.
Take photographs. Photograph the affected packaging, shipment and visible damage clearly.
Retain relevant packaging. Keep packaging while a carrier or supplier investigation is being assessed.
Contact Battery Safe Systems promptly. Provide the order reference, photographs and available delivery documentation so the appropriate next steps can be identified.

Damaged or incomplete deliveries

Carrier and supplier reporting procedures can differ. If an order arrives visibly damaged, incomplete or substantially different from the expected shipment, contact Battery Safe Systems promptly.

Do not discard relevant packaging or delivery documentation while the issue is being reviewed.

Delivery and installation

Delivery does not automatically include installation.

Unless specifically included in the quotation or order scope, delivery should not be assumed to include:

Unpacking or removal of packaging.
Movement to the final operating position.
Assembly.
Electrical connection.
Ventilation or building-system connection.
Commissioning.
Installation works.

If the equipment has unusual positioning, access or installation requirements, raise them during the enquiry process so the required scope can be understood.
