Returns & Refunds Policy
At Battery Safe Systems, we supply certified lithium battery safety cabinets and charging systems designed for professional, commercial, and residential use. Due to the specialised nature, size, and safety certification requirements of these products, our return and refund policies differ from standard consumer goods. Please review the following information carefully before placing your order.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
Because safety cabinets are large, freight-shipped, and certification-controlled equipment, we do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect ordering, or any reason unrelated to product defect or shipping damage.
Once a unit has left the warehouse, it cannot be resold as new nor returned to the manufacturer unless defective. This is standard practice for industrial safety equipment across the U.S.

2. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
To qualify for a replacement or refund:
- Inspect your delivery upon arrival.
- Report any visible damage within 72 hours of delivery.
- Provide clear photos of the damage, packaging, and freight label.
Once confirmed, we will coordinate with the manufacturer to repair, replace, or collect the item. Return freight is covered by the supplier in cases of damage, defect, or shipping error.
3. Wrong Item Received
If you receive the incorrect product due to a supplier or warehouse error:
- Notify us within 72 hours of delivery.
- Provide photos of the item and the packaging label.
We will arrange for the correct item to be shipped and for the incorrect unit to be collected. Return shipping is fully covered in these cases.
4. Returns Requested Due to Customer Error
If an error was made when ordering (e.g., wrong model, incorrect size), please contact us as soon as possible.
Although change-of-mind returns are not accepted, in rare cases where a return is approved at our discretion, the following conditions apply:
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
- Customer is responsible for all return freight costs.
- A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from any refund.
Approval of these requests is not guaranteed and depends on manufacturer acceptance.
5. Company or Data Entry Errors
If the incorrect item was ordered or submitted due to an error on our side, we will:
- Cover all return freight
- Cover all replacement costs
- Ensure the correct product is shipped promptly
These situations are rare but fully supported.
6. Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled free of charge if the request is made before the order is processed by the manufacturer, typically within the first 24 hours.
Once an order has been submitted to the supplier, entered into production, or prepared for freight:
- Cancellations cannot be guaranteed
- If accepted by the supplier, the customer may be responsible for any associated cancellation or restocking fees
Please contact us as quickly as possible if you need to cancel your order.
7. Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method once:
- The returned product has been received and inspected (where applicable), or
- The damage/defect claim has been confirmed
Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.
